Gracious Nature
Gracious nature never greets With a lifeless saying Rather, kisses on the cheek By wind sent softly sailing
When I step into her house A cushion’s there for my feet When I need a place to rest She’s given this fallen tree
Never does she anger When an osprey does receive Pleasure through its wings By the currents of her breeze
The grass utters no foul word When it’s bumped from behind Instead, they share a melody Of their many whispers combined
Now the sun completes its course As will I, O gracious nature I’m thankful for your many gifts A reflection of our Maker
