I. A Time For Everything
He said there is a time for everything
And wise, old Solomon was right, of course
To live and die, laugh and cry, take and bring
And in these dark seasons with voices hoarse
We ask you, Lord, to make this winter, spring
To send the sun to run his joyful course
And loosen our busy mouths to praise and sing
To find contentment over distraction
It seems there is no time for anything
II. No Time for Anything
It seems there is no time for anything
In our new world of viral reaction
Looking up at the screens we’re worshiping
Burning incense of our interaction
Rather than enjoying time with our King
And loving neighbor by word and action
Redeem the time and help us tightly cling
To the things that matter eternally
He said there is a time for everything
